Don hoy, originally from Cleveland, has an impressive resume starting at Dan Dowds steak house in plantation. After working as a busboy at 13 he found himself moving up the latter. He was the head chef for most of the 80’s. In 1992 we purchases Landlubbers Raw bar and grill in Plantation, a staple in the Plantation area. After 20 years we decided we needed a change, I think we picked the right spot

Our three sons have grown up in the restaurant business. Lucky for all of us they acquired amazing talents. Stephen can run a line like nobodys business and Kyle can create a meal that will knock your socks off. Then there is Kevin, the lucky one, he got away from all this madness and is playing Junior hockey in Boston for the Bay State Breakers but that didn’t stop him from getting things going from the start. He is responsible for designing our menus.

As for Lito’s mom, well she grew up in Philly, moved to ft Lauderdale in 1988, met my dad in 1990, the rest is history. I hope you will find it comfortable here. Kids are welcome. We serve a variety of microbrews and drafts. We also serve wine by the bottle or glass. If we don’t have it just ask.
